The Word: Prayer Page

We should take our questions and needs to God in prayer. We pray to our Father in the name of Jesus because Jesus is our intermediary to the Father. Jesus is the truth, the life and the way and the only way to the Father is through Him. So if you want others to pray for your needs feel free to post those prayer concerns here. Any christian person that wants to join in and help lift up prayer requests on this page is appreciated.

When I finally started reading Bible Scripture to look for answers in the world instead of looking for answers in the news and online is when I was captivated by the truth in God's word.

I realized that not only had I not read much of God's word, but I did not pray to God, thank Him, Glorify Him, bring other people to the truth in Jesus Christ and I did not have an accurate concept of who God is.

I soon realized that I needed to repent of my sins and stop wasting time on worldly things and setting my mind on things that don't matter like money and getting more stuff. God is first and I had to believe that.

Also, when I fully grasped the concept that I was a vile sinner and still am and that by Jesus giving his life on the cross for all the world that I had the gift of everlasting life and all I needed to do to get started was believe.

What followed was repentance, daily prayer, and daily reading of the Bible. Through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we can have everlasting life.

With the remainder of my time here on earth I intend on being an obedient child of God and doing His will. My family life has improved and I have none of the anxiety of uncertainty concerning what happens to someone when they die. If you are worried about that then you may not be saved.

The wages of sin are death. We all fall short of the glory of God. You must become a new creature by the regeneration of your mind by the power of the Holy Spirit.

What it takes is faith in Jesus followed by the repentance of sin. Repentance means that you turn from your sin and do not delight in them. You will never be perfect as a human, but we can all do our best to live biblical holy lives as ambassadors for Jesus Christ providing an example in our words and actions for the unsaved.
